Marge Streight

Administrative Support

Marge is one of the voices to greet you on the phone when you ring us at Metro. She also assists in billing, organization, and many other secretarial, clerical, and administrative duties. We can always count on Marge to greet our clients and employees with a positive attitude.

Originally from Missouri, she lives in Wichita with her husband of 35 years, Bill, and their two dogs, Bella and Boomer. She has two children: Dustin, 33, and Ashley, 29. In the past, Marge was involved with music and theatre, and she loves spending time with her family, singing, playing slots at the casinos, watching movies, attending concerts and Broadway musicals, and traveling.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve seen or delivered at Metro?

A bong—it came to us to be delivered to City Hall here in Wichita. However, it wouldn’t go through security and the person it was addressed to refused it, so I took it home (it was actually really pretty) and gave it to my neighbor.

If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?

Fun fact about yourself:

After competing, I was a traveling companion for a local contestant to go to Miss Kansas and served on the board of the pageant as the business manager for the winner.

What’s your hidden talent?

I decorate cakes and make cake pops.

Congratulations! You’ve got three wishes! What would you like?

What’s the greatest horror film of all time?

Go-to midnight snack:

Scariest thing you’ve ever done:

In 1983, I rolled my new Mustang that I’d only had for two weeks quite a few times late at night on a back road driving from Sand Springs to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and landed upside down in a ravine. Luckily, I only had a few scrapes and a lot of bruises, but my Mustang was completely totaled!

Do you have a life motto you live by?

Not really, but I do believe in karma and “‘what goes around, comes around.”
