Chief Operating Officer
Randy is a Metro veteran. Having worked in the company for 24 years, he manages our day-to-day operations and customer relations. He enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in outdoor activities, and attending sporting events. You’ll always find Randy rooting for his beloved KU Jayhawks, often traveling to Lawrence to watch them play football and basketball. Randy is also an avid supporter of Wichita East High School baseball, volunteering to organize fundraisers and support.
If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?

When I was 13, I went to work for a farmer. Learned how to drive a tractor and a combine.
If you could have a dinner with someone who is alive or dead, who would it be and why?
Max Falkenstien, former voice of the Jayhawks. Would enjoy picking his brain from his 60-year career covering KU sports.
What is the weirdest thing you have seen in someone else’s home?
What would be the coolest animal to scale up to the size of a horse?
What is the funniest joke you know by heart?
“Why do the French like to eat snails? Because they can’t stand fast food.”
What’s the most interesting thing you’ve seen or delivered at Metro?
Delivered tiger blood from the Sedgwick County Zoo to the Kansas City Zoo. The blood transfusion saved the life of the tiger in KC.
What’s your hidden talent?
I used to be a distance runner. Ran two marathons.
What’s the last thing you watched on TV and why did you choose to watch it?
“House”. My son, Blake, got me hooked on this show.
What’s the greatest horror film of all time?
Go-to midnight snack:
Cookies and milk.
